Meet The Doctor

Dr. Viraj Vora was born and raised in London, United Kingdom. He originally earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at King’s College London in 2000. He then continued his educational journey in North America where he obtained a Dental degree (DDS) from the University of Western Ontario in 2005.

Dr. Vora practiced in St. Catherines as a general dentist for three years, focusing mainly on Oral Surgery and Endodontics. During this time, his passion for endodontics grew stronger which lead him to enter the University of Michigan in 2008 where he earned a Master of Science (MS) degree and a certificate of specialty in Endodontics.

Throughout his academic career at the University of Michigan, Dr. Vora earned two awards for his master’s research project as well as the ‘Robert Ellison Award’ for comprehensive knowledge of the Endodontic literature. His research was also presented at the American Association of Dental Research meeting (AADR) in Washington 2010.

After graduating, Dr. Vora worked as an endodontist in private practice in London Ontario for nearly two years, after which he decided to open his own office in Vaughan in 2013. Dr. Vora is a registered Endodontic specialist in Canada and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC). He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Vora also holds a faculty position at the University of Toronto as a clinical instructor and lecturer of the Graduate Endodontics program. Dr. Vora’s specific interests in clinical endodontics includes minimally invasive endodontics, probabilistic decision making and focusing on patient centered outcomes.
